    We are getting reports of silence on downlinks. A reboot of the receiver will recover the feed. We switched uplinks today during some maintenance and it appears to have caused the receiver to not begin decoding audio after receiver lock.

    The power went out at Santiago Peak, and the emergency generator did not start. ENgineerings are en route to investigate and restore.

    The emergency generator failed to start when the power went out on the mountain. The long duration of the station outage was due to the extreme travel conditions for Engineers to get on site.

    Update
    The normal video encoder is past end of life and has been experiencing more and more failures. We attempted to put a stand by unit in place yesterday but experienced audio sync problems and excessively high buffering.

    We will be testing throughout the day today.

    We're monitoring the video encoders for today and attempting to identify the causes of the failures. We've been running video tests all morning and have not encountered major problems.
